Mersea Island Lions Club Presentation Evening 2016 at The Wheatsheaf at Waldegraves
At Waldegraves, we understand the importance of supporting small local businesses and the local community. Mersea Island is a small community that loves to socialise.
Waldegraves offer the perfect opportunity for this by hosting some great events and our entertainment/facilities are open to the public. Each year, we provide support to the local charities and communities we work within via a wide range of sponsorships and donations.
We continue to sponsor the Mersea Island Lions Club and their annual classic car show that is hosted in one of our fields. On the 4th of February, Mersea Island Lions Club had their Presentation Evening in The Wheatsheaf at Waldegraves and £11,500 was presented to the local charities during the evening. Waldegraves Holiday Park contributed £2,000, which was raised during our community firework event that was held in November 2015.
Our commitment to issues concerning our local community is and will always be important to our business.
