Permanent, Full‑Time

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Worker to join our team on a permanent, full‑time basis. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across our Holiday Park.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain lawns, hedges, landscaped areas, walkways, and parking areas, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and debris removal
  • Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs to buildings, accommodation, and facilities as directed
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of recreational areas, including pitch and putt, recreation grounds, footgolf, and the driving range
  • Operate, maintain, and care for groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, hand tools, light machinery, and plant
  • Clear blocked drains and assist with identifying and rectifying water leaks and basic plumbing issues
  • Assist with the movement, siting, and relocation of static and touring caravans
  • Respond to emergencies and provide support to other departments when required
  • Follow all recommended safe working practices, ensuring the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and park visitors at all times

Working Hours

  • 5 days out of 7, 8am – 5pm
  • Bank holidays are part of the working schedule
  • Ability to work late when required, typically in emergency situations

Holiday Entitlement

  • 28 days per year, inclusive of Bank Holidays

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence
  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a similar role (preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic landscaping techniques and equipment operation
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual work, including lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions
  • A positive work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
