Accessibility and Wheelchair Friendly Holidays

Waldegraves strives to ensure all guests can use and enjoy the facilities and accommodation on the park.  We are always happy to help in any way and all you need do is ask if you require any assistance whilst planning your stay or visiting the park.

We have one holiday home in our hire fleet which is fully wheelchair accessible.  The wheelchair friendly holiday home is well equipped with sliding doors, widened corridors and access routes, wheel-under kitchen units, wheel in shower unit and grab handles in both the bathroom and double bedroom, including an over-bed hoist. All holiday homes are within close proximity to the facilities.

The park has two toilet and shower blocks, one on each touring field. Each block has disabled access showers, toilets and washing up area and run on the national RADAR key system. You can also make use of the family bathroom, with a shower, toilet, sink, and baby changing unit, providing families with both privacy and security. All facilities are easily accessible with wide doors and access ramps. The indoor washing up room at the bottom block is less accessible but there is an outdoor alternative. There is space to park a vehicle next to each pitch. There are numerous water points, chemical disposal points, bin bays and recycling areas, all within a short distance of all pitches. Most pitches have electric hook up. Pitches are allocated on booking. Guests are advised to book early and specify their requirements over the telephone to ensure their pitch suits their personal needs.
