During Off-Peak times the Wheatsheaf clubhouse will be closed Sunday – Thursday, Live Showtime & Entertainment will be on Saturday Nights  ONLY and the Sports Bar will be open Fri – Sun to enjoy a drink and to watch sports, and kids clubs run Saturday Afternoon’s Only.

Spend some quality time together, join in and enjoy great, live entertainment throughout the year in our Wheatsheaf Clubhouse! Our Entertainment Manager Glen and the Teamstars have created a variety of entertainment options to ensure everyone has something to enjoy. You’ll be able to enjoy live music, visiting acts, party bands, one-off special events and bingo. Get involved and join the game shows and other in-house productions. PLUS, there is free WiFi in the club so you can stay connected!

When you arrive, make sure to check the ‘WHAT’S ON’ wall at the clubhouse entrance for all the details about our Kids Clubs, Clubhouse opening times (reduced throughout non-school holidays) and what’s on during your stay. You can also check our entertainment Facebook page.

Entertainment Manager Glen

I was inspired to join the Entertainment World back in 2002 when I gained a degree in Performing Arts at the University of Essex in Southend. Continuing with my journey I started my first job role with a touring theatre production company as the Company Manager, touring with a great company producing shows, performing in shows as lead roles, and of course playing the part of a dame and the comic from the comedy side of me. After the theatre productions role, I decided to set sail on the high seas and join Disney Cruise Line as Cruise Staff and Children’s Programming Centre, which boosted my career in the Entertainment Business. From then I was the ship’s host, presenting Kids Programmes, performing on the Disney Sky Channel alongside productions, shore excursions, host around the different countries, gameshow’s, deck parties, adults lounge and much, much more.

At the end of my Disney contract, I wanted to work back in the UK for a Holiday Park where I always wanted to be an Entertainer on a family park so it was then when I joined Waldegraves Holiday Park as Entertainment Manager back in July 2008 to the present.

I love working along my Teamstars and the day to day schedule of Bingo, Kids Clubs Live Showtime, Party Dances and so on. I’m now going into my 18th season here at Waldegraves Holiday Park entertaining great people with a great team from the Owners, Seasonal’s and holidaymakers, I’m looking forward to meeting new guests for the season. When you’re here on holiday or visiting pop in and say hello and join in the Entertainment. There are lots of new and exciting things coming this season.

Teamstar Emily

I’m Looking forward to the start of the season going into my 4th Season as a Teamstar. I first started out in the Entertainment world when I enrolled at west Suffolk college studding Performing Arts in 2020. Once I passed my exams I wanted to be an Entertainer on a holiday park, so that’s what I did.

I Joined the entertainment team here at Waldegraves in 2022 as an Entertainer and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. It’s not a job but something I love to do. Working with the kids and making sure that everyone that holiday’s with us, has the best time. It’s full of friendly faces and I always love to meet new people. We have an amazing team and we can’t wait to show everyone the new ideas we have going forward.

Kids’ club information

We regret we are unable to offer any child care facilities. Whilst we are happy to provide children’s activities, including kid’s clubs, they are not child care facilities. Please note that at all times the safety of children is the responsibility of the parent or guardian. The parent or guardian will be held accountable for the actions of any minor(s) in their control. Kids are welcome to all clubs with their siblings but the clubs are run at targeted aged groups.

PLEASE NOTE: Kids clubs are only running  1 session on Saturday afternoon throughout non-school holidays (Off Peak) and 7 days a week School Holidays (Peak Season). Times may vary, some events are chargeable. All clubs activities & entertainment are planned in good faith prior to publication but may vary subject to change.
