An update from the Management in respect to the COVID-19 Coronavirus
1st August 2020
As you may know, we are open again and our facilities are operating on reduced numbers to ensure social distancing. As a local family-run independent holiday park, we are very much looking forward to getting back to doing what we do best, and we hope that we have your support whilst we do this.
Our Reception and Bookings team are experiencing extremely high call volumes and email traffic. We would like to thank you for your patience at this time, please bear with us and we will respond as soon as we can. We would like to encourage all of our customers to make a new booking on our website.
Please note, we are continuously reviewing our Covid-19 procedures as the safety of our staff and guests remain our number one priority. Therefore, we have decided to amend all our holiday home check in times to 3pm for Platinum and 4pm for Gold. This will allow us to ensure your holiday home is cleaned to the highest standard following Covid-19 cleaning guidelines. We would like to thank you for your understanding.
We also have some great news, all of our facilities, including our swimming pool, are now open with all Covid-19 measures in place.
As per government guidance, we are only allowed a maximum of 25 swimmers at one time, so if you would like to use the swimming pool, please book your time slot (45min) at the pool entrance early (8am) to avoid disappointment, same-day bookings only. Due to the high demand with the beautiful weather we are currently experiencing, we are having to limit the sessions available per stay. Safety remains our top priority, please support the one-way system and adhere to the signage displayed for the protection of you and our staff.
Swimming pool opening times: 8am – 8pm – last entry at 7pm. 8am – 8.45am – adult owners only swim.
We are proud to announce that Waldegraves Holiday Park has been certified by Visit England as having the “We’re Good to Go” Covid-19 Industry Standard.
We take our guests’ well-being very seriously and have put in place extra cleaning measures and practical safeguards to ensure that you stay safe.
Thank you once again for your support during this difficult and extremely challenging time.

Government guidance and advice to avoid non-essential travel in the UK.
23rd March 2020
These are unprecedented times. We all have a responsibility to consider not just ourselves but to the people of our country, the local community and on this Park.
We are having to make decisions and take actions which were unimaginable a few weeks ago.
We are closing with an immediate effect on all facilities on the Park.
Thank goodness for the announcements of support which have come from Government which should help us to be ready to resume business just as soon as the crisis passes; we will be making effort to ensure our staff are looked after during this period.
We are speaking to all holiday hire and touring bookings to ask them to stay away and to offer alternative dates when the crisis is over.
We ask private owners on the Park not to stay in your holiday caravan at this time and to be sensitive towards the views and needs of the local community and NHS. We are expecting the Government to give us more guidance very shortly. We expect a clear message that holiday and touring parks must not stay open for business as usual. We hope there will also be some guidance about those using holiday caravans as their home.
The time for you to leave in a safe and orderly way is limited.
Over the last 24 hours, there has been an increasing and understandable concern in local communities towards the owners of second homes and caravans, as well as holiday visitors. The government’s clear guidance is that there must be no unnecessary or non-essential travel.
We ask private owners who are not on the Park not to come here, and if you are on the Park, please go home. We are following the Government’s guidance so closing to protect you and wider society.
Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. People should remain in their primary residence.
We urge you to co-operate at this difficult time, please.
