Hook-up great fishing holidays in Essex at Waldegraves

For fishing holidays in Essex that will leave you hooked, choose Waldegraves Holiday Park! Whether you prefer sea fishing or coarse fishing, there’s something for every keen or novice angler at our site.

Our four, well-stocked fishing lakes in Essex are brimming with top quality Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Gudgeon which are guaranteed to meet the expectations of the keenest angler. Managed by a permanent fishing warden, the fish and their environments are maintained to the highest standard. Our lakes have also recently been improved with new swims added!

Waldegraves is one of the premier destinations for fishing holidays in Essex, as we also offer sea fishing from our very own private beach. Here you could be lucky enough to catch anything from sea bass, sole and mackerel to plaice, whiting and dog fish. And, if you would like to venture further out onto the water, you can do so with our own boat launching facilities. From here you can explore the waters around Mersea Island… and try to land a monster off the coast!

To complement our fishing lakes in Essex and sea fishing opportunities, we also sell tackle and bait for both fresh and seawater fishing from the on-site Wheatgrain shop.
