Holiday Terms and Conditions

  1. The full balance of your holiday is due 10 weeks prior to your arrival. Any balance shall be paid not less than 10 weeks prior to your holiday start date. If payment is not made by this date, we will assume that your holiday has been cancelled and we may re-sell the holiday to another customer.
  2. There is a 1.5% charge on all credit card transactions.
  3. All payments made are non-refundable except where the cancellation plan has been purchased. Please see separate terms & conditions relating to this plan.
  4. Transfers are only made at the discretion of the management and incur a £15 administration charge. No transfers will be made to any booking within 14 days of the arrival date or once your booking dates have passed.
  5. No all male or all female parties are accepted on the Park. (Or groups of under 21’s).
  6. Caravan accommodation can be occupied from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 10am on the day of departure unless alternative arrangements are made with Reception, subject to availability and an additional charge when available. Platinum grade holiday homes benefit from an earlier check-in time at 2 pm.
  7. All bed linen is provided in our caravan accommodation. By prior arrangement travel cots can be hired at £10 each per stay, subject to availability.
  8. A credit or debit card number will be taken at the time of arrival for each Luxury Holiday Home in case of any breakages, damage or theft. If the accommodation, upon inspection, is found to have been left in an unacceptable condition, we will notify you and your card will be debited.
  9. All touring pitches may be occupied from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 1pm on the day of departure unless prior arrangement is made with Reception, subject to availability.
  10. A refundable deposit of £10 is payable on arrival for a  barrier pass for each touring pitch and holiday home.
  11. Please note that some facilities and Wheatgrain Shop operate limited hours outside of peak times.
  12. The outdoor swimming pool will be open from May Day Bank Holiday weekend until early September,  weather permitting.
  13. The speed limit of 5 miles per hour within the Park must be observed at all times and bicycles must be ridden responsibly.
  14. Fishing is permitted during daylight hours. Day passes available. No night fishing or camping by the fishing lakes.
  15. Late arrivals must check in at the Granary Restaurant when Reception is closed. Arrivals after 11pm are asked to park in the car park until Reception opens at 9am.
  16. Any boat or Jet Ski will not be permitted to use the slipway on the park unless an agreement is completed and signed in Reception giving proof of current insurance details. Additional charges apply. Jet Ski club stickers should be displayed at all times on water craft.
  17. Day visitor parking tickets are priced at £5 per car, per day and must be purchased from Reception before parking.
  18. Well behaved dogs are permitted on site on the condition that they are kept on a lead at all times except in dog walking areas. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs; doggy bags are available free of charge from Reception.
  19. The Wheatsheaf and the Granary Restaurant are available for private hire whenever we choose to do so. In the event of a venue being unavailable, an alternative venue will be provided.
  20. We ask that noise is kept to a minimum at all times especially after midnight in respect for other guests. Sound producing equipment is not permitted on the Park.
  21. We will always try our best to allocate you a pitch in your preferred area, however due to unforeseen circumstances; we cannot guarantee that you will not be moved.
  22. Waldegraves Family Holiday Parks reserve the right to revise or terminate a booking at its discretion.
  23. The price of a touring or camping pitch includes four people ONLY, one car and one unit (tent, caravan or motorhome). You may have a maximum of six on your pitch at an additional charge per person. Seven or more people require an additional pitch. All children over 12 months old are chargeable. The number of people on your pitch includes any people sleeping in an awning or pup tent. IF YOU WILL HAVE ANY EXTRA PEOPLE, CARS, DOGS, BOATS/JET SKIS OR IF YOU ARE PUTTING UP AN AWNING, PUP TENT OR GAZEBO, THESE ARE CHARGED AS EXTRAS. ALL EXTRAS MUST BE PAID FOR BEFORE PUTTING THEM ONTO YOUR PITCH. INSPECTIONS WILL BE MADE TO ENSURE ALL EXTRAS ARE PAID FOR.
  24. Whilst every effort is made to provide the facilities advertised, we regret that we are unable to accept any liability for the lack of any facility or accommodation due to a technical breakdown or circumstances beyond our control.
  25. Waldegraves reserves the right to vary these regulations at any time and the final decision is at the discretion of the park management.
  26. You are responsible for your children. An adult must accompany small children to the toilets and facilities.
